Adding juvenile queen angel to sps dominant reef

Contemplating adding a small ( less than 3”) juvenile queen to my 200 gallon tank. Mostly Sps colonies and a few torches. Couple of big monti caps too.
current fish stock:
5” purple tang
4” juvenile emporer
4” regal angel
Breeding pair of spotcinctus clowns
4” meleagris wrasse
4” blonde naso
4” hippo tang

anyone have any insight? I know the queen can be territorial and a coral muncher. Any insight on growth rate?

I would watch out with the Imperator established already. As for growth rate these guys have a similar growth to an Imp in my experience. I’d keep an eye out for your torches as some LPS and Softies can become a feast for this species.

A 4" emperor, and the new queen, would still be juveniles, so I think it would work for a while. Long term, I think they would fight in that sized tank. Queens get pretty large for a 200 as well. Personally, I'd be happy with an emperor as the show fish and boss of a 200.

I have grown a queen with an emperor with no issues. As it gets bigger, it will pound on the regal which is usually more mellow. When small, if there are zoas, they will get eaten first. As it gets older, then LPS are on the menu.

I don’t really keep any softies and the only LPS are the torches, and I have all 6 on one rock as a torch garden. All the other corals are sps colonies with a few sticks on a frag rack growing out. I’ve never seen an angel go after big monti caps and they grow so quickly I don’t mind a little nipping. My Imp is pretty mellow as is the regal. The boss of the tank at present is the purple tang and even he pretty much ignores everyone. He did bully my copperband occasionally,who I eventually removed when his tail was getting ragged. The clowns constantly have eggs they defend, as well as their two anemones that have latched on directly beside each other. They chase off anyone who gets too close to their eggs, and the spawn about every 3 weeks.
I may give the queen a shot. It’s only about 2 1/2” and I’d have a pretty good stretch of time to observe its behavior before it became an adult. If it causes trouble I’ll find it a new home. I’ll keep it in an acclimation box for a few days for the imp to get used to its presence
