I want to make frag mounts and seal the magnets in-between the layers during printing. Just want to know if others have tried this and was the magnet water tight in the compartment. what kind of magnets do you use?

I printed a feeding ring that encapsulated magnets, they put a color change in the print to stop the printer so you could put the magnets in. I don't know why they wouldn't be sealed water tight as long as the print is 100% fill, I have printed water containers that don't leak. Probably don't want to use PLA filament though as it will likely disolve.

Print a tall cup out of PETG. Make sure the print wall is as thin as the one on your magnet printed wall. Add water to it. Water will leak in 1-3 days.
