adding more clown fish

I got 2 false clown fish. they've been established for close to 3 years. wanting to add more clown fish false percula. is it advised and if so how many should I add? 2,3,4,5,6?

What size tank? I have seen two pairs in large long tanks… a nem at each end for each pair.

Or they may just fight and stress each other out.

For clown tanks… it is usually a clutch from same batch and like 20-30 of them or such with tons of nems.

125 gallon with 2 bta nems and might add a third nem also.

Add at least 5-7 (odd numbers) which I did and it ended successfully.

might work with occys or something. My perc pair would kill any I add at this point. They are 8 years old I think.

Not sure if it will still be working in 10-20 years tho.

With odd numbers instead of one on one, they are less preoccupied with other same fish. The same applies to tangs in which you can see , I did the same. two will fight. Three not sure who to fight with. I posted many clowns and with 5 pairs and 4 of them breeding pairs- Abolutely no fighting or territorial disagreements

So does that mean having 5 is better than having 6? 5 is an odd number but 6 would simply mean more to spread the aggression between.
