I have about 250lbs of rock in my established system, would it kick up a new cycle if I was to add about 50lb more?

and/or would it be any bad for the corals? Sps mainly

nope, can do/

it must be sourced from another reef tank, shaken free of detritus etc
but if its cured real live rock it will simply xfer

pet store rock is ok if its coralline lined and cured, that's the same skip cycle rock as tank rock.
drop / reramp the lights in the new tank after.
