I have an SCA 80g and it is currently plumbed into my garage where I have a large sump/refugium. I am considering going to a smaller sump under the stand. My question is if I can temporarily remove the center brace on the stand to get a 30" long sump inside. If it's not safe, then the largest sump would probably be a 24"l sump. I did see an older video of the same tank and the stand did not have this center brace (photo included).

Usually those strips are not load bearing and only make use to hide the door gap behind the doors. I cannot guarantee this information im providing though. Do you have the manuf.'s contact info?

Thanks for the reply. Unfortunately, I don't think SCA is still in business.
