I got some branching live rock today i would like to add a shelf to my aquascape. What is the best way to secure it? My lfs told me nyos reef cement would work but i watched a video saying it was a nightmare and didnt work. A comment from TB aquatics verified that it is not designed to bond underwater. Also ive tried using the 2 part epoxy with so-so results. It usually worked when the rock can sit on a flatter surface, not really supporting any weight. Im trying to make a shelf with nothing but the epoxy/cement/putty holding it up. I saw reef builders article on maxspect coral putty but it doesnt looks like its available yet. Any ideas? Thanks in advance guys n gals.
