Hello, I am new to the salt water game. I just set up my 55 gallon tank about 3 weeks ago. I fell in love with the coral. I just bought a 50 gallon low boy frag tank. I will be drilling the holes in the glass myself for the overflow and return. My question is what do I need???? I have been all over the internet for 3 days trying to figure out how to set up a sump. I guess what I need advice with is how big of a sump, skimmer and return pump do I need?

Links to videos would help.
Thank you for any advice.

I don’t necessarily want to change your mind but this is what I did back in December. Under the stand all I have is a 5 gallon bucket that pumps ato water into the back section of my diy filter. No skimmer yes hob uv sterilizer.
