Advice on counting heads

[Sprinting]

I am fragging out some of my gold hammers and the stem come out to 2-4 mouths. Is each steam considered a head or is it counted by the number of mouths? Each of the circle is quite distinct in my opinion but some are on the same branch.

So each red circle below is showing a head of the hammer coral, so this one would have 5. Hope this helps! :)

Would it fair for me to count the heads like this

I would count them like @LAA said and just say 1 head 2 mouths or 1 head currently splitting.
