was wondering who has one or has used one in the past??.....My question is do i need to install bio-balls in skimmer tower????....Ive been running this set up without bio balls in the tower for 9 months..I have had issue with my skimmer needing constant adjustments....any help would be great

Yes, you should have bio balls in the tower as long as they're the proper kind. It will greatly improve performance. Do you have an auto top off that keeps your sump levels constant.

however they won't effect you fluct. problems... that is just a side effect of the skimmer and a big reason many end up ditching them.

You need the bio-balls to make the bubbles small,if your having issues with getting i set correctly contact Gary at AE hes a great guy and will get you set up in no time at all.

Thanks guys.....I installed them last night...seems to be creating more mass of tiny bubbles now....talked to Gary yesterday and he helped
