AfterBite - HALP!!

Apologies if this is in the wrong forum.

My son squeezed a tube of AfterBite ointment and accidentally shot a glop of it into his reef tank. I netted and skimmed as much particles as I could. Ran carbon, and did a 40% water change. It's an AIO 4 gallon pico. Water is still clear. I see a handful of sand-sized specks of ointment in the water column still. Wondering what kind of effects it might have on the corals (acros, favias/fivites, zoas, micromussas). There's also a clam.

Here's the ingredients of the ointment:
* sodium bicarbonate 5%, medicinal
* aloe vera
* DEA Oleth-3 phosphate
* DEA Oleth-10 phosphate
* Dimethicone
* emulsifying wax
* Eucalyptus oil
* purified water
* Tea tree oil and Vitamin E Acetate, non-medicinal

I would add carbon and a polyfilter into the circulation to collect any pollutants and hope for the best.

You can do as many 100 percent changes as needed to syphon out. Run carbon for short period as well. Make sure temp is within 2 degrees and using same salt mix. Praying you Hopefully no issues.

I agree that GAC is a good plan. Nothing in it looks especially toxic to me. Skimmer may stop skimming for a while.

I did a little Google-fu on the ingredients. Nothing seems toxic, other than maybe the eucalyptus oil.

Carbon is still in, changed filter floss. So far, so good. I may do another water change today or tomorrow.
