Afters years of many failed Aquascapes, I think I finally learned how to build a not so terrible rockscape!

imho, NAS (negative aqua-scaping) is the best and easiest way to manage how the my aqua-scape looks and functions (e.g. water flow). I used to stack bulks of live-rock together and there were only limited options to shape how I wanted. And ended up with a look of a pile of rock.

By applying NAS, I can easily and conveniently terra forming for coral placements.

This was just a pile of rocks (without NAS) in my 20gallon tank

This was my first attempt NAS and in a 32gallon tank.

This is my current NAS (2 weeks ago, did left and right expandsion with additional rocks because I need more platform for additional sps)
