Hi everyone. I have a bicolor blenny and I love the little guy but a few months ago he started nipping at my Columbian Shark catfish and I had to move him to another tank, I decided to give him a second chance after about 4 months of being isolated but he is nipping at them again (which is funny since he is like 3in. and the catfish are close to 10 in.)

I would love to keep him in the DT. Do you have any ideas like maybe adding more blennies to the setup to keep him busy? Any ideas are welcome, I would really like to keep him in there.

I have a red eared blenny that was aggressive. He was nipping at all my fish that I put in the tank. I have only had him for a couple of months but he is now not being aggressive at all to any of my fish. My theory was that he was establishing domanince in the tank and now that everyone knows he is the boss he relaxed. I do not have a concrete awnser but maybe some time will help. I will be taggina long checking this thread out to see if anyone has a real answer. haha. Good luck!

Thanks. I sure hope he calms down once he figures out that the catfish are not a threat!!!

I agree, I might give it some time as long as he's not really damaging the catfish and they have plenty of hiding spaces.
