That would be the first I have heard of a blenny being a coral muncher.
He was terrible. I started another thread about him picking on my duncan then Every new coral (sps) was stripped almost to bare skeleton. So I pulled out the rock that was his house and dropped him in a spare tank. Maybe I'll start another tank with the outcasts.

There are some blennies that are obligate sps eaters, others that are opportunistic nippers, others randomly nip, and still others are completely safe. Just depends on the species and the individual.

Just a quick update. Attempted a fish trap for the damsel but caught all but him. So I resorted to a net, put it in the tank and had to answer my phone... he swam into the net himself like a dummy. Today Wrasse was out and swimming freely without issue giving everything a once over.
