Hi all,

I've had this pair of ocellaris clownfish for almost a year now, and they've only displayed small amounts of aggression towards other fish.
I just transferred them into a new tank along with a leopard wrasse and watchman goby. Since the transfer the goby has very torn up fins and the leopard wrasse only comes out to eat, and then they bully her back into the sandbed.

I understand that clownfish are damselfish, so I should expect some aggression, but this isn't great, and I value my other fish. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to curb the aggression?

Thanks.

Clownfish can become very aggressive and territorial as the mature. Especially a female in a pair. It is possible they will calm down and are just adjusting to the move.

I have one who is 8 years old. She lives in her own tank with a torch and some other softies. I have tried to add her to community tanks multiple times. She always beats everyone to death, hundreds of dollars worth, other clowns, flame hawk fish, gobies, fire fish, yellow corris wrasse,

It's how they are. Once mine hosted a torch, she went bonkers and hasn't looked back.

That's her little rig in the corner.

How large is the tank and do they have a host anemone?
The tank is 3 foot by 2 foot by 1.5 foot. 60 gallons.
No, they don't have a host anemone, I'm having some issues with phosphate, so I'm not able to give them one yet.
