People who use the AI Blade.

Can you control the light with the switch while a program is running?

I’m getting some new fish and I want to disable the light for a while. Then turn it on a low setting while the fish get acclimated.

Will using the switch while a program is running disrupt the program?

Here’s the answer if anyone else finds this post.

Blade Button

There are plenty of ways to control your Blade! You can use it locally (using the buttons), and you can control it via the myAI app and even the Mobius application.

Button Functionality
  1. When unconfigured, clicking the buttons should cycle through the following settings:
Marine Lights
  • All Channels: 1%, 20%, 40%, 60%, 80%, 100%, OFF, then
  • Blue/Royal Blue Only: 1%, 20%, 40%, 60%, 80%, 100%, OFF - Return to All Channels
Freshwater Lights:All Channels: 1%, 20%, 40%, 60%, 80%, 100%, OFF
Actinic Lights:All Channels: 1%, 20%, 40%, 60%, 80%, 100%, OFF
Fuge Light:All Channels: 1%, 20%, 40%, 60%, 80%, 100%, OFF

When configured:

  1. Clicking the button once should start a 50% intensity scene for 2hr
  2. Clicking the button again should start a 100% intensity scene for 2hr
  3. Clicking the button a third time should resume the schedule
  4. Pressing and holding the button start a 0% intensity scene for 2hr

I just unboxed a Blade and it does not appear to work in manual mode on a plug controlled by a wall switch.
