For my IM 170 (59'', so for ease of math let's round it up to 60'') I got 3 Hydra Edge lights: two 44HD and one 68HD. I'm planning out the spacing for the lights. I assume I don't want equidistant since one of the lights is double the power. So you think The 44s 15'' from the edge and the 68 in the center? Is my math mathing?

Depends what height you mount it at and the degree of the lens. You'll have to play around with it so you dont end up with too much light spill.

Right. (There will be Printed Reef shade going on these things.) I think I'll try to mount them as high as possible (15'' is the max) so I don't bump my head over the lights each time I have to reach in for some reason.

I think my math is not mathing though. 15'' from the edge would be even spaced, which means hot spots between the lights. I think maybe the 44HDs should be 1/3 of the distance from the edges...
