Hi. Been running saxby on two tanks. Doing well. I hear saxby can be hard on the lights?? Was thinking trying brs ab plus or pirates. I’m having a hard time finding the files to download. What do you guys think?

I use the same saxby setting and find in the evening time there is a frequency buzz so I’m not sure if that’s overworking the light. I have yet to find the BRS setting myself would love to know where to find it as well. Also just a sidenote I got the 3-D reef diffuser and love it.

The AI prime/hydra Facebook group has both pirates and AB+ available under the files section. You will need to join the group, but there are over 400 or so programs available there.

I run my own edited version of pirates and love it. Also, my 16HDs make a high pitch noise as well, mostly at night when settings are low. Others have described it too.. consensus is normal for this model.

Yeah.. it takes a bit of looking and opening files to find what works for you. There are multiple versions of each file with people’s personal edits. But there are a ton of good files in there.

If it’s a big change remember to set them to acclimate for a bit. Good luck!
