Hi all!
I'm having a bit of trouble figuring out the best flow schedule with my AI Nero 3 in my 15 gallon cube mixed reef (LPS dominant). I'd like to use a random setting so I can have that natural reef flow pattern throughout the day.
Right now, I have the wave maker on the front left side of the tank just about 4 1/2 inches below the surface pointing to the right wall and slightly curved toward the back so the flow goes around the rock and in the same direction as my return nozzle. What I'm noticing is that once the flow hits the right wall, some of it curves down toward the sand and upwells to the center in a clockwise motion.
Any thoughts? Just want to avoid creating dead zones while making sure all corals get enough flow
