Hey everyone,

I currently have a 75 gallon tank that is 36” L x 18.5” W x 24” H, it has 2 Ai prime HD+ over it and they seem to be doing good for my tank. I recently bought a 100 gallon tank to upgrade that is 60”x18.5”x22.5”. I know I’m going to need more lighting and have been looking and since they don’t make the type of light I have it seems I would need to get one or two of the Aiprime 16HD but I’ve also been thinking maybe one hydra 32 would be good as well, with my current two lights on the outside and the hydra in the middle. Is there a big difference between the Hydra and the 16 HD? And what one would be the best for my situation for coral growth and cost. Thank you all in advance!

I would get two more primes or one more + AI blades on the side. Might as well do a system that uses your current lights.

Reefi Lab uno 2.0 = BEST LIGHT ON MARKET!! They simply out preform every other light available right now due to sheer power, at 277 watts total I am barely using 107 watts to put 100 par into 27 inches of water at my sand line.

There are sooooo many light choices. Its your choice, but IMO its a bit boring to consider AI Primes on a big tank like that.

I’d get some lights that don’t melt;
Got 2 primes, same issue. They don’t like being run hard.

On the prime that I have over my refugium, I just removed the lense and put a diffuser on.
