How often are you needing to change your lighting that Wifi is that vital? Seriously can remember the last time I needed to remotely change a setting on my lights when I was not in front of my tank. lol

Ultimately I’d like to use the Saxby one (link below), but I’m just starting out. I just tried my best to replicate and put my own twist on it for now. Picture of my current set up.

I only have my Live Rock base and planning on adding some more small pieces/fragments of rock to the sides of the archway for adding some torches or something…only experimenting with just a few Zoa frags at the moment, so I don’t have any other softies or LPS/SPS yet. Ive had the frags for 2 weeks and just slowly moving them up the side of my tank to acclimate to the lighting. I’m planning some small Zoa gardens on the bottoms of the rock, (gluing the plugs to the rocks this weekend), and some other corals higher up.

@mikemathis555 okay so I won’t paste the setting but if you go to the link that you posted you can download his setting. Once it’s downloaded there should be a blue down arrow toward the top right of your screen pictured below. Then you can import it into the myai app and use his setting.

perfect, got it to work. I don’t use safari, so the browser I was using was blocking me from doing this. Did this via safari, and now this works. Thanks!

For future reference if you download something on iPhone it should go into your files app to be seen/used later.

Only time I need into light controls is when I’m home setting an acclimation period.

4 years later and Aquaillumination still has “WIFI coming soon!” for these devices. The Bluetooth is so fragile I have to be within a couple feet of the tank to even connect. I’m pretty annoyed that I invested in 2 of these. Might try to return one.
