I have a regular ai prime that the wires got pinched in cabinet doors. I fixed it and used it for about 9 months then bought prime hd and took it off tank. I just found it in a box and was wondering if anyone has used one as a fuge light to grow chaeto or kalurpa, and if so what settings

I use the regular prime hd for my refugium. I max out all blue/purple channels and the red. I have the white up to 60 percent or something like that (its whatever I can increase it too with the power left). The green is handy if you have red macro algae but useless for green macro obviously. I havent used the non hd prime but in reality if it can grow coral it can grow macro algae.
