ok so i got a killer deal on a prime hd and mount and it will be replacing my crappy par 38 light . i’ve looked all over the facebook groups . i’m looking for a schedule file for my prime hd to grow chaeto , caulerpa and other macros

You can do 24/7 since algae doesn't sleep. However, this may be why the covering of my prime melted from the LED's (which seems weird to me since they would get to their max temp well before 24 hours and shouldn't melt under that. It is really up to how much waste your tank produces. Think of it as a machine, turn it on and it goes to work, turn it off and it does nothing.
