AB + is very good and popular I started with that and just made tweaks to my liking. I have dropped my intensity down quite a bit too and have noticed better colors I think I had them cranked up too high for a little bit and stuff got slightly pale. It’s very hard to have light demanding corals and lower light corals in the same tank. These lights are pretty powerful if used correctly BRS had the suggested height to hang at 14 inches I keep mine around 12. Go as close to that number if you can and you will get great spread. Here is a screen shot of my settings From a month ago I would send you the current one but you can’t log into the lights at work because of BT only. The only changes I have made to this setting is that I dropped the intensity down 20 so my blues max at 80% now. Keep in mind I have 3 over a 65 gallon tank so I don’t need them up too high with the coverage I am getting. I hope that helps feel free to ask anything. I believe with the new lights I can send you my setting right from the app. Let me know and I’ll try it but I think I need more information from you to do so.
My tank is 18 front to back. I bought 2 Coralife T5 fixtures ($100 a piece) with ATI blue plus lights. If you look around you can find those fixtures all over the place. But in your case I would buy another prime. I had a prime over a Nuvo10 that grew acros awesomely. Your tank is literally 2Nuvo 10’s side by side.
Yep, those are magnet rocks. I’m surprised that I don’t see them more often. They make killer scapes. Specially in nanos.
I forgot to mention, all of the coral in my nano outgrew the tank under the prime. That itty bitty elegance you see in the corner of the Nuvo 10 is the same one in the 65. It’s bigger than a football.
