I have my single AI prime 16hd 14inches over my 25 nuvo lagoon. Is the intensity of blues at max 165% bad for the bulbs? I was having trouble figuring out the settings and how high to lift the light. I have a par meter but was struggling to get 75-100 in the corners without high par in the middle. I know 2 is preferred but its what I can afford for now. I see a lot of people with intensities at 40% getting a good spread but idk wasn't anywhere near strong enough it seemed

your question is difficult to understand? If it's this: "Is the intensity of blues at max 165% bad for the bulbs?" - I would say 'no'. Second its ok to have some PAR lower - I think you might be overdoing the PAR analysis

10 inches above water line is the recommended height. You will lose spread but increase par. What are your goals for the aquarium? My schedule has been great on my 36 " mixed reef. I do have two Primes over that area.

This map is 10 inches over a 12x12 tank with all channels at 100% Not too many people run them like this.

My schedule below I'm getting max 180 par on the top of my rocks at high noon right under the lights on each side.

No - it's not bad for the bulbs. I would do 12-14 inches. I dont think you need to worry about the corners - if you go to my signature. I had 600 Par at the top, and 100 at the bottom. Hope this helps - in. the end it kind of comes down to personal preference. There is nothing wrong with some darker areas in a tank
