I'm looking to get an LED for actinic purpose to supplement with My Giesemann Halide fixture.

Is this a good option? Would one cover a 30x30 aquarium. Its a 70 cube.

Thanks in advance for your input.

70-40-40-70
70-40-40-70

At full depth 18in + 12 over the water = 30

The 70s would have a light cone with radius of 17. The 40s will have a cone of radius 10. So yes if it were empty, but not 100% at the surface.

I would recommend keeping them further off the water or you will not have the coverage and WORSE you can burn some coral! SOL Blues have 2 different angle optics (2-wider and 2-norrower, sorry forget exact angles) wider optic would be preferred to increase spread. Unfortunately the wider optics drop PAR considerably.
They can be ordered straight from AI installed if you are ordering direct or you can purchase optics alone.

Any other LED recommendation for just actinic purposes for a sps dominated tank. I would like to run my halides only about 6 hours and the Supplemented light for 4.

2x24 inch stunner strips.

They will give you the blue pop without the bulk.
