OK, I was just looking for how big of a tank you need for a sore fish. I wasn’t actually gonna get it. I just wanted to know and it says swordtail fish need 10 gallons. I never asked that sword tail fish then I put in all caps, not swordtail, and they basically just said nah I ain’t giving you an answer and it sucks with other fish cause it says you can put like 20 fish in 5 gallons

Didn’t really understand half the words there, but this is a saltwater forum.

You’ll get better answers elsewhere regarding freshwater fish

I think I understand your post although I don't know what a sore fish is..........but yes, I would not rely strictly on AI for making fish selection decisions 😀

I agree, I would not rely on AI to give you advice. We have had multiple threads made where people will ask AI questions, and 9/10 times, its answers are wrong. I would just post your question here and have people give you human answers that will be correct vs a machine giving you an answer that may or may not be right.

Here is a long thread we had regarding AI

If swordtails, you need at least a 10 gallon for 6-8 of them but of you plan to let them breed, a 20-30 gallon is best.
Regarding freshwater, many of us here did/do freshwater and I owned an LFS for many years an Have high knowledge of freshwater and feel free to ask. While this is a saltwater community, we are also hobbyist friendly.
Be careful of Google and Ai sources

I look at AI as entertainment, not reference. Though it can be accurate or at least convincing at times, it is not a proven source of information in all cases.

I’ve seen some pretty bid swordtails, honestly I don’t know if I’d keep them in less than a 3 foot tank to start.
If by “sore fish” you meant to say swordfish/marlin, I’ve never even heard of them in captivity. For their activity, you’d probably need equivalent tanks to what public aquariums keep tuna or large sharks in.

I thought for sure this was going to be about an AI Nero pump sucking in unsuspecting fish.
*glad it wasn't ... that's all I've got

The quality of response you get from AI is highly dependent on the quality of the input prompt. It's a tool that needs to be learned, not some oracle.

AI is a great tool if used appropriately.
One should never rely on a single source for anything important to them.
