Looks like the new customisable power pucks are available from AI now. They are offering leds in violet, uv, neutral white, warm white, and red in addition to the original colors. What combinations do people think would be best to upgrade my lights? I was thinking about just changing out some of the green lights for UV or violet. I am really happy with the way everything looks so far but have read that the lower spectrum leds like UV and Violet help a lot with color and growth.

I emailed them and was asking for ideas as well.

What I came up with for my Vegas was to remove the greens and UV and violet in their place.

Thanks for the reply. That's pretty much what I was thinking. Not real sure about the UV though cause I heard it is real easy to burn your corals with it. Maybe just replace the greens with all violet.

That is a possibility. Not sure what harm or benefit one UV on each module will do. Violet is not a bad option. I haven't ordered yet so I might do one module with all violet and the other with a UV and violet. Not sure, I imagine by tomorrow I will change my mind.

It would be nice to compare any differences.

yea i'm gonna have to do some more research. at $50 a puck I want to get it right the first time.
