AI WiFi controller

My AI wifi controller just went out and can’t find one to save my corals lives. I don’t have the money to buy new lights and can’t find them online. I know AI themselves don’t have any. I was wondering if there was any other way to connect the hydra 52s without the controller?

If you are handy at all, you could probably just cut the line before and after the controller and splice together. Just match the colors of the wires. Easy peasy. Make sure it is unplugged before doing anything!

Edit: Also, your corals will be fine without light for a few days. So you have time to order the right part if you want to. People black out tanks all the time to combat major algae problems.

Edit 2 (sorry I keep thinking): make sure the controller part doesn’t contain an AC to DC converter/adapter. Splicing won’t work in that case.

So I only have the cables that connect from the lights to the wall outlet. I didn’t get anything else but the controller and the cable to the outlet for that. I got it all second hand. I know I can run the default settings but I’d prefer to find a different way to connect the lights to something more sustainable. The controllers are nearly impossible to find and when I find one they cost an arm, a leg, and a kidney.
