Hey Everyone

First time posting after reading this forum for over a year. I recently upgraded to a used 65 Gal AIO and it has been a great tank so far.
One issue I am having is with microbubbles coming into the display tank.
Chambers:
1 - Filter Sock
2 - Skimmer from my 40gal. I can see microbubbles coming from it
3 - Stock JBJ return pumps.(Unrelated one is much louder than the other).
4 - Filter media
5- Filter Sock

Is there a solution for microbubbles reaching the pump that is not removing the skimmer?
Would it be dumb to try and put some time of padding/foam at the top of the baffle separating 2 & 3?

So the problem is without forcing the water down and under a divider, the bubbles never get forced out. So if you could add another baffle to create a section 2.5, even narrow, that should force them out.
