AIO heater vs display

So I have an IM 15 cube and out an HMA-100 watt heater in the AIO chamber. Checked the temp that set on the dial to 78 but the display area of the tank is very much not 78 degrees. Maybe like 74, but the rear pump chamber is 78. Should I move the heater to the 2nd compartment or just turn up the heater?

Turn the temp up after you’re absolutely certain that the tank temp is not 78°.

Also make sure you give the heater time to heat all of the water before you make any changes. I’ll typically wait 24 hours between adjustments.
