I found a single aiptasia in my reef tank about 2 weeks ago and didn't think much of it. I ordered Aiptasia-X and kept an eye on it. It turned into 2 and a little baby one in the last week. The order got delayed and the aiptasia-X will not be here for another week. This morning the second one detached from the rock and is now attached to a plug holding brand new polyps I just got yesterday. The one it is touching is closed up and I am afraid it will kill that polyp if I don't do anything right now. Will the polyp be okay for another week or is there something I can do right now to save it? I know I can't pull it off and I don't have a needle to inject it with lemon juice or something else to kill it.
