Aiptasia eating filefish

Hi all,

Thinking about getting an aip-eating filefish one to help control my aiptasia and hopefully also make a dent in my ball anemones.

Has anyone had success keeping these with soft corals such as zoa's, gorgs, xenia etc? I would be buying captive bred if I did go for one.

I've tried a few. All have picked at corals.

Had on for a few years and did excellent. Then one day acans must have tasted better......

Thanks both, seems like a risk. I'll see how bad the aiptasia and corynactis get, If I can't stay on top of them I may try one out!

I've head better luck with Cooper bands....they are a nice looking fish too
