Nudibranchs are the best solution in my opinion. They have always wiped out the problem for me!!!

Do they come back after the Nudibranches are gone?
Yes they do. Normally takes a while. To rid your tank of aiptasia you need a crazy reset. Once you have aiptasia it’s all about management. If you get a file fish (aiptasia eating kind) that will help also

File fish and manually deleting them with Kalk in a syringe. The file fish will eat smaller ones as they pop up, but the established ones will likely require manual deletion. I picked up the fish from a LFS and I knew it ate Aiptasia. This is what I did and I’ve been Aiptasia free for a couple years now.
Nudis will be the most expensive food you have ever bought for your wrasses. Don’t bother wasting your money there. I know first hand.
my experience exactly

Aptasia once you have it you will never get rid of it fully. It will be in your sump, plumbing and overflow. It becomes about controlling it

What corals do you have in this tank? Can helo figure what to help you. DO NOT GET BERGHIA WITH A BIRD WRASSE!! That beak is meant to reach into crevices and grab out the goodies inside like your beghias. Also pepermint shrimp would be out also. If you dont have sps or lps butterflies is way to go. Forget copperband here. Too delicate for your fish. Drop in a racoon, threadfin and another butterfly. 3 will spread out aggression and they will def knock them out. If you have more tasty corals a stripey might be your best bet but they much like butterflies turn on coral in shortage of aptasia
