Air Stones

Just wondering if adding air to a tank would be any kind of benefit or do any harm.

Thoughts?

If you have a skimmer its practically the same thing.

I don't have a skimmer, so I'm guessing it would be a good thing.

Yep. Some skimmers even use air stones. It will help regulate your PH also.

Bubbles trap detritus in them, and when they hit the surface they pop, and like a skimmer, the garbage comes out of the tank, and onto the rim and canopy. Also, salt creep is crazy when adding an air stone.
