Aj's over the top S1000 Build!!!

Hello friends. We have the pleasure of introducing the S1000 Build! Yep. It's crazy and over the top. This will be one of my most intricate builds yet. We have the #1 goal in mind here. Serviceability and convenience. Here we strived for the best of the best without being ridiculous. We wanted to have the ability to automate as much as possible as well on this build I wanted the ability to replace, service, maintain or otherwise access any piece of equipment without hassle or inconvenience. I feel like we see a lot of builds that are so clean and crisp but under the hood it's a complete mess and maintenance nightmare. Should a power supply, controller, pump, light, ect fail I wanted to be able to swap it or repair it without fuss or hassle. Because at the end of the day If it's a PIA to do something you wont do it. Let's Look at the equipment list.

Let's set started. Something so annoying is the fact on the S1000 the backwall is a cheap thin plastic backing. You can't Attach wiring, controllers, or anything to it. Don't get me started on the actual cabinet build.... To resolve this we cut custom plywood inserts for each section of the panel as well as custom black acrylic inserts for visual consistency. This gave me the foundation for the build. Interestingly enough 3/4 plywood and 1/4 acrylic panels flushed up with the aluminum bracing. It gave us a flush clean look.

Next we added a motion sensor led light for the cabinet. This gave us ample lighting whenever the doors open and we need to do any work inside the cabinet. Such a simple yet overlooked feature.

As well we repurposed a Red sea door and added it to the equipment pullout panel that came with the S1000. I think it gives us a cleaner look. I'm excited to show you want we did with it.
