Alarm is off

New to having a apex
I have email alarm set to auto
Added Min Time 000:30 Then ON
And still only get Alarm is off
I just don’t know how to fix this please help

My guess is that alarm off just means the alarm condition is no longer active, but I don't use the Apex. A temp high alarm set for 78.5 is low. I would suspect you would get alarms quite often.

Every time the Apex reports any Alarm ON condition, it will follow that up with a corresponding Alarm OFF notification once the problem has been cleared up. This is by design.

What is your heater's normal range of operation? Sending an alarm when greater than 78.5 seems a bit overly aggressive for most reef tanks. Maybe adjust that alarm threshold to 79.0 or higher.

I don't use Apex to control my heater except to shut the eb32 socket off if temp gets over 80 as a fail safe if heater was stuck on. Alarm goes on under 76.5 and over 80. My heater controller is set to 78 and starts heating at 77 and shuts off at 79. Works out. I had 1 Alarm last summer when the house got to warm.
