Hello everyone, this is my first post in this forum, i will tell my history fast,

My name is Pedro and Im from Portugal and i have 31 years

I decided to share with you my aquarium, 125 GAL (500L) + Sump.

I will be brief and summarize the history of the aquarium until the present day.

I started with an aquarium of 79Gal (300L) in July 2014.
In December 2015 I had the chance to buy the aquarium that currently have for a good price, so I changed my aquarium.

A few weeks later I lost all the fish, due to a fish introduced with marine velvet

The aquarium haywire up and had GHA, dinos, and all that does not matter.

In August 2015 changed some equipments(skimmer, ligth, pumps) and could begin to stabilize the aquarium and finally walks to the success I hope

I'm thinking about changing a bit the layout.

Remove the left island, its a bit low,

And make big island and attach the two together and make 1 main structure, i will gain more space for corals, my only concern is the fish will lose swimming room

Nice tank like the progress shots coming along nicly.I have a family holiday apartment in Portugal in the algarve between alvor and play de rocha. Love it there. Never seen many fish stores around there what is the supply like ?

Hii,

In Algarve only know 2 fish store, one near Albufeira and the other in Almancil, both small fish stores.

I have a friend of my dad over there who was considering a saltwater tank as he is about to retire.Where abouts do you live ?

I live in Evora, about 200/250km from Algarve.

Ahh yes a bit away i can see but not so far from Lisbon where my dads friends has a place. I really need to get some travels around portugal done especially away from the tourist areas and see the real portugal

yep i like your roads over there can put the footdown with ease. Never had any hassel with the police over there 160 all the way lol

Oh I will. Have a car there now with Portuguese plates so have to be more careful

A small update ,

I will change the layout , already have the new dead rock cleanup process , not to release po4 , I think that within days or first week will be able to place the same without great disturbance aquarium .

I will also start ZEOvit method that I think will be my way .

Hello everyone,

I leave you here my new layout, new rocks as in cycle process.

I got more space for corals and the positioning of the rocks got more space for the fish.

Now is stabilize and enjoy
