Hello everyone. I moved to Queen Creek, AZ from Frisco, TX about 6 months ago. I sold off most of my beautiful 60 gallon cube, keeping only the expensive electronic components. I couldn't stay away for too long but needed to keep things simple, which never really happens as we all know.

So this in my new build. I bought a 25 gallon NUVO Black which is a shallow tank with no overflow. I had an old Glassholes overflow and drilling kit I was always wanting to use, so decided to drill for the overflow and return. I planned out all the plumbing with red PVC from BRS. I plumbed the carbon reactor into the return line to reduce the amount of motors needing to be running in the sump. I also added an extra line that I can open up to do 5 gallon water changes with easily, just by closing up specific valves. My stand is all built by me also. It's 10 series size T-Slot by 80/20. The corners are all secured and very solid. I will be putting some outside covers for the sides and front, still debating on what I want to use though, have some ideas in mind. The cool part of the T-Slot is that you can mount various things on the frame, like I did with my reactor. I have a doser from BRS I'll be mounting soon also. My sump is by Simplicity, which I really love, very simple and effective design, well made and quiet.

Here's a list of all my components:
-25 Gallon Nano Black (drilled overflow and return)
-T-Slot Stand
-Simplicity Sump
-Ice Cap K2-50 Skimmer
-Sicce 500gph Return
-BRS Reactor (carbon and gfo)
-Apex Jr. w/ PH probe and wxm modules
-Vortech MP10 QD
-Radion G3 pro
-IM ATO
-MarinePure block in sump
-Black caribsea lives and
-Pukani dryrock from BRS

Your setup is a lot like what I'm working on currently. I've got the Nuvo Black 30L, which I'll be drilling for an Eclipse overflow and Glass-holes 3/4" return kit. I originally got the Glass-holes overflow box too but ultimately decided on the Eclipse instead, which has 2 drains, one for emergency. I've got all the fittings, elbows and unions figured out but I'm lost when it comes to gate and/or ball valves. Do you have one behind the tank near the overflow box? Or just the one on the return line?

I've picked up a nuvo black 25 as well. Getting ready to drill. Was thinking of a main drain 1" centered and 2 3/4" returns on each side, similar to where i see your one return placed. Thoughts?

Hey sorry, haven't been on here recently, saw you asked about your tank. I like your thinking there. I had wished I had 2 outlets before. I actually sold my tank and downsized even more to a small 18 gallon all in one.
