I was wondering if anyone has tried algae as a co2 scrubber.
No sure I completely understand this myself. Some guidance may be needed.
I'm currently culturing phytoplankton. The thought crossed my mind to connect the air output from my jar of phyto to my skimmer air input. Acting as an algae co2 scrubber.
Could this work or am I stupid? Or would this make ph levels drop even further?
Please comment your thoughts. Has this ever been done or discussed before?

I would think the exchange would be negligible for the amount of gas you want vs just using soda lime.
