Hi everyone, I have had my tank, 29 biocube running for over a year now but had to do a reset due to disease (brook/velvet wiped out my fish).

That was in the last week of October. Since then I have added some corals and a few inverts (tuxedo urchin, cleaner shrimp, Halloween crab, and most recently a pitho crab) but am still struggling with algae issues (growing over zoa frags and forcing them to close).

The wifey says no snails, so those are not an option.

I believe that enough time has passed for me to start adding fish again, but is there anything out there that will be able to help keep my frags clean without being tempted to eat the corals themselves?

Do plan to stock a wrasse for pest control and maybe tailspot blenny to help with algae down the road. What other utility fish would you consider for that size tank?

Algea blenny and more hermits. Emerald and pithos crabs are good options also. Why all the hate on snails anyway? I find them interesting in their own way.

She just has an aversion to them, developed from stepping on garden snails from since early childhood. Just would like us to both be able to enjoy the tank.
