Just by looking at the cells @taricha, I am struck by the high regularity of the arrangement and stacking of the cells. The macroscopic view does not help much. I am leaning towards a disk or sphere shaped cyanobacteria, although Chrysophytes (wrong color though) and algae (no visible organelles though) can also form macroscopic structures.anyone can help ID this? not quite sure what it is, microscope is "el cheapo" brand.
