Hey all, been looking through threads but am having trouble finding which kind of algae I have growing on my live rock.
The tank is about 10 months old and Nitrate and phosphates are within range (11, .04)
I’m just drying to figure out which CUC would want to eat this algae. Just can’t do that till I ID the thing.
Thanks for any help anyone can give me.

It might go clear when reproducing, going “sexual” as it is known in the hobby.
Oh dang, thanks for the heads up. Any suggestions for cleanup crew? Honestly I find the algae really cool looking. And am fine with just having CUC take care of the algae for me.

I have Mexican turbos that love Ulva as long as it is contaminated with cyanobacteria.

Looking back to your reefing roots: Did you start with Instant Ocean salt?
