Test your magnesiumAny snails I put in don't last more then a couple of weeks, [emoji26] don't know why. That's why ordered the Triton test before adding anymore snails. The fish are OK just the snails die in a couple of weeks.

That's is pretty normal for mag, let me see if anyone has sea hare near me. ThanksNot sure if that is to high, i know they don't like high mag. I usually have a hard time keeping them for very long, but for some reason the 5 i have now have been around for months. I don't know why.
You can also get a sea hare, but it will eat all that algae in about a day, then starve. Some times you can get your LFS to rent you one. The one I go to let's me buy one when i need it, then return it for store credit.
I wonder how I would got copper in the tank. I have sent water to Triton for testing I will find out soon.I would remove as much as possible by hand and big water changes will help as well. Getting a clean up crew would be the best way and testing water for copper as invertebrates can't live woth copper in water
If you do get a sea hare, keep and eye on it. You don't want it to die in your tank. You can also feed them algea pellets or noriThat's is pretty normal for mag, let me see if anyone has sea hare near me. Thanks
Don't think so I only feed once a day when I come back home at night. I will try to stop feeding various things I feed em through the week and just try feeding pallets though. And see how things are. Thanks for the advice.Maybe over feeding the tank?
