Yep.............. water change is best.
Check your Po4 as well.
I see that this tank got moved from one place to yours.
If the live rock got exposed to air you will get some die-off on there.
The results are when put back in water is a spike of Po4 and No3.
Test for these # as often as possible and go after it before it get out of control.
I bet the spike is because we recently pulled ALL the live rock out of the tank and took out all the crushed coral in the bottom of the tank, then put the live rock back in. That was a little over a week ago now that we did that. If moving it back and forth from the tank to the buckets could cause some die off that might be it. But honestly, he was feeding WAY too much. He was feeding the corals every day. Either reef energy, or reef roids. I know everything I have read said to feed about 2-3 times a week. Is that about right?
