Hi everyone! I am definitely fighting some dinoflagellates in the tank and on the sandbed. However, this light brownish hairy algae has taken hold of all rocks, covering corals, and even made its way to my sump. It's much easier to video than photo, so please see the attached video. Is this another form of dino or something else? All help is appreciated!

CUC is struggling since the dino outbreak wiped out some snails. I am down to two turbo snails, a verity or two, a pin cushion urchin and possibly some nassarius in the sand for a 75g. I want to top off CuC but have been trying to wait out the dino without chemical warfare.

The algae on the rocks blows off easily into a fine powder in the water, but it's back within a day. I've had my phosphate in the .10 - .15 range for weeks now and holding nitrate ~10pm to try to play out the dino. I am guessing the increased nutrient is fueling whatever this is.

Need to get a microscope to ID the dinos. There is different treatment based on the type you have
