2 months ago, placed a live rock in frag tank, and have been shutting off return pump and letting Sit with 8ml microbactor 7 for 4 hours 2x per week(frag tank only)

Took pics just now, after cleaning frag tank. So not so much algae....

Getting real tired of fighting algae in frag tank.

Do you have similar clean up crew and/or algae eating fish between the two tanks?

I just added a small frag tank to my 155 gal display and had algae in frag and a lot less in DT. Just added some snails a few days ago and they have been busy.

I recently, removed 4 small maxijets and replaced with 1 tunze...
So as of 1 week ago no.

The dt has stronger returns, faster drain and 5 mp40"s

Scrape out sim of the reddish brown gunk and put it under a microscope and see what it looks like. Seasame seeds doing flips the you have Ostreopsis Dinoflagellates, longer sticks diatom. Filament cyano. Treat from there
