Algae on top of GSP

Looking for help. Is there something I can do for my new GSP who seems to have a large algae growth right in the middle of it? I have a small 13g tank so not many natural options besides hermit crabs and snails (have both)

Urchins are an option. Are you able to blow the algae off with a turkey baster?

That was a good idea. I was able to blow the algae off and take it out of the tank. Hopefully I got it all. Thanks!

Urchin ok in this small of a tank?

I brush it off gently with a toothbrush after lights out so the polyps are already closed, and that works. I also see my snails and crabs crawling around in there periodically, but never my tuxedo urchin.

You would be ok to add a tuxedo urchin in a tank that size.
