Algae out competing chaeto in refugium

Just run a shorter photo period on your fuge light. That will increase your nutrient levels. If the hair algae etc and chaeto are getting the same amount of light/nutrients then you need more chaeto to out-compete the hair algae. Manual removal of the hair algae can do this.

So I've vacuum out the dinos and hair algal and reduced fuge photo period to 10 hrs. I've started to notice a difference in corals and am showing a slight color change on the test kit. Will keep monitoring. Thanks for all the input.
