Algae question

Hello,

I’m wondering if there is a specific invert that would eat this algae on my rocks. I got 10 hermit crabs for my tank and they knocked out the hair algae really well. There’s still some left but they got the majority of it under control. But there’s more of a slimy brownish red algae that doesn’t seem to be getting touched. I also have two turbo snails, not sure if they’re eating it or not, but does anyone have suggestions on what I could add to take care of it? I have a 20g max nano. I’ve attached a picture of a patch of it. Not the greatest picture but hope it may help a bit. Thanks

did you try to brush it does it go away?
if not I am suspecting red turf algae, blue tuxedo urchins should eat it if it is.

It did come up when I brushed it. Is manual removal the best was to address it then?

Sounds like cyanobacteria, especially if it comes off easily. Critters wont eat that unfortuantely.
