Lots of options
Google search “waterproof led flood grow lights”
Example of what I found.

I wouldn’t make the emergency drain small like that and I would put the drain on the bottom. You can also just balance the spray bar on top rather then have that side support.

got a question: What's the required wattage lighting? I found a "450w" [really, 150w] 3-stack grow light LED on Amazon. That thing is bright and gives quite a bit of heat. I got two, one for each side of my planned algae scrubber. -> is this too much??

I used two of these lights.

and I started my algae scrubber on 11/24. I just changed the lights to run on a 12 hour cycle and this is what I had as of yesterday.

Thanks. So, yours = 12w times 2.
What I have is 150w times two. Is what I have too much?? [btw, mine are $58 each, so the price difference isn't that huge; these are the lights: [they are now even cheaper, at $50]

Water resistant indoor/ outdoor grow light LEDs Amazon has them. I don’t think they make the ones I have anymore.

So I plan to turn my ten gallon into a algae scrubber but I’m stuck on which lights to get. The smaller ones you guys recommended but I’m not sure they are big enough for a 8x10” screen. Any suggestions would be generous. I’m about to pull the trigger on one of these sets of lights
